Good, Fast & Affordable Restaurant

It’s hard to find a good restaurant in Amsterdam, especially if you’re looking for something fast and affordable. You might think that because you’re in the Red Light District, all of the restaurants here are going to be expensive and not very good. But Burgerfabriek is here to show you that great food doesn’t have to cost a lot of money.

These burgers are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and our fries are hand-cut and double-fried. Burgerfabriek also has a wide selection of beers, wines, and soft drinks.

Why Go To Burgerfabriek?

Burgerfabriek is a great Amsterdam restaurant for a number of reasons. First of all, the burgers are absolutely delicious. They’re made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the staff is very careful about making sure each burger is cooked to perfection.

Real Dutch fries

Are you hungry and would you like to get acquainted with real Dutch fries, delicious burgers or heavenly hot dogs? Look no further! Restaurant Burgerfabriek is were you have to go. Fresh, fast, flavourful food, pimped with a modern twist.

The Burgerfabriek (Burger Factory) was founded in April 2015 in De Wallen and is located on Amsterdam’s oldest street. Go here if you want to taste some real Dutch food like Old Amsterdam cheese on a delicious burger together with some thick Dutch fries. Yummy!

The only place in Amsterdam where you can tap your own beer!

The first time we visited the Burgerfabriek was this summer and we were really amazed by the quality of the burgers. We haven’t had burgers before in Red Light District that tasted so good as the burgers of restaurant Burgerfabriek. Well done, guys!

History

Did you know that restaurant BurgerFabriek used to be a cannabis shop? It was Sheeba which was located here. It was forced by the local government to close its doors, because of the so called Project 1012. Which ment that some coffeeshops located in the entrance of Amsterdam, are not allowed to sell cannabis anymore.

  Homemade 100% Blonde d’Aquitaine burger (200gr) with red onion, Old Amsterdam cheese, pickle, lettuce and delicious grill sauce.
• Spanish Burger 
  Homemade 100% Blonde d’Aquitaine burger (200gr) with Serrano ham, cheddar cheese, red onion and Salsa Verde.
• Italian Burger 
  Homemade 100% Blonde d’Aquitaine burger (200gr) with Roma tomatoes, pancetta, mozzarella di bufala and Basil Pesto.
• Mexican Burger 
  Homemade 100% Blonde d’Aquitaine burger (200gr) with jalapeños, onion, guacamole and spicy chimichurri.
• Japanese Burger 
  Homemade 100% Wagyu burger (200gr) with paksoi, spring onion, and Wasabi sauce.
• American Burger 
  Homemade 100% Black Angus burger (200gr) with onion, pickle, tomato, lettuce, cheddar cheese and BBQ sauce.
• Indian Burger 
  Homemade 100% Chicken burger (200gr) with Indian spices, green pepper and yoghurt-mint sauce.

These international burgers are served with big Dutch fries or baked potato.

Tap your own beer in Amsterdam Red Light District

BON À SAVOIR: Go here with friends and tap your own beer. 

The BurgerFabriek is the only place in the Red Light District, where you can have a table with your own beer tap. They have 4 tables inside which offers these personal beers taps: There is one big round table in front, it can take 8-9 persons. There also two big bar tables in the back, also for 8-9 persons.

Besides that the BurgerFabriek also has another table which allows 5 persons. These tables with beer taps are quite convenient, especially when you’re in Amsterdam with your mates.

The table in the front of the restaurant is definitely best because you’ll have a great view on the Warmoesstraat.. In the summer time you can sit outside or just go inside and pick the big round table next to the window with its own beer tap. Great for people watching!

Opening hours have changed during the corona-crisis. Please visit their website (listed below) and check the current opening hours.

• Friday’s & Saturday’s: 11 am till 2 am

Reservation Restaurant BurgerFabriek Red Light District

Making a reservation at restaurant BurgerFabriek is not really necessary as they have plenty of space inside. Just walk inside and ask for a table!

How to get to the Burger Fabriek in Amsterdam?

Dutch fries with mayonaise to-go. Get them at the Burgerfabriek!

• By foot: The Burgerfabriek is located on the Warmoesstraat in the middle of the Red Light District. It’s a 5 minute walk from Amsterdam’s Central Station or Dam Square.
• Tram: There is no tram which makes a stop in the Red Light District, but you can get out at any tram on the Damrak street.
