⭐️⭐️⭐️

The 65euro option requires at least another 100euros. This pricing scale is not made very clear anywhere other than these reviews. Bartender was very nice, and the drinks were strong. We paid 130euro for entry and another 140euro for a 4girl show for my partner and I. Fun show, steep price. Source: Google review.

Singer Lizzo charged for sexual misconduct in Amsterdam Bananenbar

Three former dancers are accusing American singer Lizzo of sexual misconduct and making their workplace unsafe.

Reports from NBC News and Rolling Stone say the complaint talks about a very uncomfortable environment, including sexual, religious, and racial harassment. The lawsuit is against Lizzo’s production company and Shirlene Quigley, who leads the dance team.

One specific incident mentioned happened at the Bananenbar strip club in Amsterdam. It’s said that Lizzo, real name Melissa Viviane Jefferson, pressured her team members into inappropriate interactions with the performers there.

Lizzo likes to take her team out for activities. While these outings aren’t mandatory, the dancers say that those who join are treated better and feel more secure in their jobs.

In recent days, American news outlets have reached out to Amsterdam’s Banana Bar for comments on Lizzo’s visit. Cor van Dijk, who runs the venue located in the Red Light District, responded to these inquiries.

After the incident became public, the Banana Bar was approached by “several questions” from American media. Van Dijk reiterated his previous statement to the ANP from last week, emphasizing that his staff recalled Lizzo’s visit as “a very enjoyable evening where nothing out of the ordinary occurred.” He described the night as “business as usual” this Monday.

The Bananenbar And Casa Rosso Have The Same Owner

The Bananenbar is owned by Jan Otten, he also owns the more famous Casa Rosso. Otten has stated in the past that he has a born aversion to The Bananenbar because it used to belong to a competitor who he couldn’t see eye to eye with. The place used to be called “Boudoir”. When he got the option to buy The Bananenbar he declined. Only after a women who worked for pushed and convinced him, did he buy the business.

Otten: “The name ‘Boudoir’ became a bit old-fashioned. Women still walked around in nun outfits inside, but they did do banana shows. The banana has been used for a long time. At one point we noticed that mostly bachelor parties were looking for a place where they could eat bananas from a woman, it seemed prudent to simplify the name to Bananenbar, a name that draws attention. Now it’s clear for everybody what you are selling.”
